We're excited to introduce our educational social justice board game, Fair Game, designed to engage groups in meaningful conversations about race, gender, historical events, and various social justice matters. This Canadian-focused game aims to foster understanding, empathy, and critical thinking through an array of interactive formats. This game covers sensitive topics and should be led by a teacher who is knowledgeable on these topics.

What's Included: 200 game cards, a spinner, and 25 game tokens

Important Considerations:

  • Sensitive content : The game delves into sensitive topics. We recommend reviewing the content and preparing students for potentially challenging discussions, or removing any cards you feel could pose difficulties for your students.
  • Trigger warnings : It is advised that teachers review the content before implementation to provide players with the option to opt-out of topics that may pose emotional challenges. The game incorporates subjects that could be considered sensitive or triggering for some people; therefore, exercising caution and thoughtful discretion is encouraged.
  • Facilitated discussions : Trained facilitators or educators are recommended to guide discussions and ensure a safe and respectful environment.
  • Open dialogue : Encourage an open and inclusive dialogue among participants, fostering an environment where diverse perspectives are respected.

Why Play?

Our Social Justice Board Game goes beyond entertainment; it is an educational tool crafted to stimulate critical thinking, foster empathy, and empower youth to be socially conscious individuals.
